A benefit for Canadian camps is a national sponsorship with Sterling Backcheck (myBackCheck) to economically and efficiently obtain criminal record checks for camp staff.
Sterling Backcheck, Canada’s largest background check company, provides the infrastructure for camps to order, store and manage Criminal Record Checks for volunteers, members and employees. Checks can be ordered online and completed within 24 hours (next business day).
Sterling Backcheck donates $2.00 to the CCA for every paid request performed for any member camp. In turn, the CCA returns $1.00 to the Provincial Camping Association for every check submitted from the province. Sterling Backcheck has processed thousands of requests for Canadian camps.
