Project Development Fund

Almost $100,000 is available for projects that support the furthering of the health and safety of campers in Canadian camps. This fund can be accessed by individual PCAs as well as by the CCA Board of Directors. Recent projects include

• Canadian Summer Camp Research Project under the leadership of Dr. Troy Glover, University of Waterloo. In 2007, the CCA committed to funding a five-year research project led by Dr. Troy Glover, Director of the Healthy Communities Research Network at the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario.
• A reprint of the Camp Health Care book, author Mary Casey, R.N.
• Redesign and redevelopment of new national website.
• Support of Visioning Task Force to implement the restructuring of the CCA.
