A Canadian Background Screening Partner You Can Trust

The safety of campers and the peace of mind of families and staff alike are top priorities. Safety, trust, and accountability are fundamental to creating exceptional camp experiences.

That’s why we are pleased to introduce a new partnership with Triton Canada Inc.

Headquartered in Toronto, Triton’s mission is to create safer communities. Unlike other providers, Triton is 100% Canadian, ensuring local support, expertise, responsive service, and a deeper understanding of the regulatory environment camps operate within.

What This Partnership Offers Member Camps

Through this partnership, member camps from Provincial Camping Association members gain access to background screening services designed for the realities of camp operations: seasonal hiring, volunteer onboarding, and high standards of care.

  • Canadian Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check: Conduct thorough, compliant screening for staff and volunteers.

  • Triton has Canada’s largest network of police services. Our 20+ Canadian Police Services include Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Tsuu’Tina Nation Police, Halifax, New Westminster, West Vancouver, Port Moody, Victoria, Nelson, and Central Saanich. This unmatched geographic reach strengthens business continuity while supporting community-based policing across Canada.  View our police testimonial video: https://youtu.be/xr-ka-2f6mo

  • Onshore Data Storage & Privacy Protection: All candidate data is stored securely within Canada, helping camps meet privacy obligations and giving families confidence that personal information is handled responsibly.

Candidate Support: Camp staff and volunteers can access fully bilingual Canadian-based support, reducing administrative burden for camp operators during busy hiring periods.

  • Canadian Based, Human Support: Triton combines efficient digital workflows with real human oversight, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and candidates are never left without help.

  • Flexible, Camp-Friendly Screening Programs: Whether you’re onboarding counselors, activity specialists, drivers, or volunteers, Triton works with your organization to tailor screening packages that fit your structure and risk profile.
