Request for Proposals - Canadian Camp Impact Study - Phase 1
The Canadian Camps Association is officially seeking a Project Director or Consulting Lead to spearhead the preparatory phase of our landmark Canadian Camp Impact Study. This critical initiative aims to establish clear evidence of how camping experiences advance the health and wellbeing of Canadian youth.
By building a firm research foundation, we are paving the way for a multi-year longitudinal study that will drive federal advocacy and long-term industry growth. We are proud to share that this project is made possible by the generous support of the Jackman Foundation.
The Scope of Work
The successful lead will focus on three key pillars over a 6-12 month timeline:
Knowledge Synthesis: Conducting a systematic literature review of existing Canadian camp research.
Stakeholder Engagement: Leading advisory groups representing researchers, provincial leadership, and camp practitioners.
Research Proposal: Developing the formal design and budget for the subsequent multi-year longitudinal study.
How to Apply
We encourage qualified consultants and faculty at Canadian universities to apply. Your proposal should detail your research experience, your network within the industry, and your proposed methodology and costing.
Deadline: February 23rd, 2026, at 11:59 pm.
Submit to: Matt Wilfrid, CCA Executive Director, at mwilfrid@ccamping.org.
