IISD - Experimental Lakes Area

IISD Experimental Lakes is the world’s freshwater laboratory. For over over 50 years we have been performing whole ecosystem science experiments that have addressed the challenges of growing populations and a rapidly changing climate. It is our job to do the research, affect global policy, and educate the public on how to live sustainably and protect fresh water, which happens to include the lakes and rivers that many camps reside on!
