IISD - Experimental Lakes Area

IISD Experimental Lakes is the world’s freshwater laboratory. For over 50 years we have been performing whole-ecosystem experiments that have addressed the challenges of growing populations and a rapidly changing climate. It is our job to do the research, influence global policy, and educate the public on how to live sustainably and protect fresh water - which happens to include the lakes and rivers in which many camps are located!
